What methods of therapy do you provide?

I offer face to face, telephone and online sessions via zoom, and am happy to discuss the options with you.

What happens next?

After a brief discussion on the phone we will arrange an initial, no obligation, consultation session.

It’s an opportunity for us to meet, discuss your needs and goals of therapy and decide whether you feel I am the Counsellor/Supervisor for you and if you would like to work with me. A parent or carer will be required to attend for part of this initial session for all young people under 18.

How long does a session last?

A standard individual counselling session is usually 50 minutes, longer sessions maybe negotiated if required.

Couples counselling sessions are usually 90 minutes.

Supervision sessions can be 45 minutes, 60 minutes or 90 minutes.

How long will I need counselling for and how often should I come?

Counselling sessions are usually weekly or fortnightly, although there can be some flexibility around this. During our first session we will discuss what your aims are, be that the chance to explore a specific issue or the opportunity to seek deeper change, and we will discuss what frequency of sessions best supports your goal.

How much do sessions cost and how do I pay?

Unless otherwise agreed payment is due during or before the session, either by cash, bank transfer or paypal.

My standard rate for a 50 minute counselling or 60 minute supervision session is £60.00.
